The bespoke sofas and chairs process begins with a one to one consultation, this is where we define your precise requirements. We encourage you to peruse our extensive selection of over 30 examples of the ‘Morgan Original’ sofas and chairs in our showroom and from there we can create the ideal piece of furniture just for you. Take inspiration from our designs and you can then adapt your piece to make it longer, shorter, wider, narrower, higher, lower, different arms or even different feet . . . whatever fits you. This is why in over twenty years of business we have never actually made the same sofa or chair twice! Once we have decided on style and size we move to the fun part – selecting fabric. With thousands of fabric options available in the showroom, some people may find this a bit overwhelming but this is where our expertise kicks in. We drill down the options starting with texture, colour, pattern and of course price.
Our Master Craftsmen create each one of our bespoke sofas and chairs in our purpose built workshop located onsite behind our showroom. We source the hardwood for our frames locally and all of our mechanisms, accessories and fittings are from UK companies.
An added bonus of commissioning your own piece of bespoke furniture is that we can provide accessories to help you create a perfectly styled finish for your home. We are able to create matching footstools, with storage if that is useful, your sofa can be a sofa bed for added practicality and we can make coordinating scatter cushions in any size you want. Complete the design of the room with coordinating made to measure curtains and blinds. Everything we do is designed to help you create a home as unique as you are.
